Eco responsible viscose

Eco viscose

Ecovero by Lenzing

Viscose is used a lot to make silky, soft and luxurious feeling fabrics. But it remains a semi-synthetic, chemical fibre, and its production has a negative impact on the earth. Ecovero by Lenzing is a sustainable textile alternative to viscose.

Starting from SS20 we are replacing conventional viscose qualities to Ecovero by Lenzing whenever possible.
Ecovero viscose originates from sustainable wood and pulp from certified and controlled renewable wood sources and has a low environmental impact, as it is produced in a closed-loop process using 50% less water and energy than is used to produce regular viscose. It is very soft, lightweight and comfortable on the skin, and has a luxurious silky touch.
Ecovero branded viscose fibers can be identified in the final product, assuring you that your purchase contains genuine Ecovero, to give you confidence that your fashion choice is environmentally responsible and has a low environmental impact.

Tencel by Lenzing

Another sustainable fibre we love to use is Lenzing Tencel. This is one of the ‘oldest’ sustainable fibres and, like Ecovero viscose, produced in an environmentally responsible process from sustainably sourced wood. The unique closed loop system recovers and reuses the solvents used, minimizing the environmental impact of production.
Tencel fibers are durable, have a long-lasting quality, and are certified as compostable and biodegradable, so can fully revert back to nature.
Tencel is known for its moisture management capabilities, and due its softness and drape very well suited for the feminine DNA of our collections.
